Current Event 1: Will Ginger Get To Stay

She was walking home from school and helping a woman asking for help just then a guy either from the mafia or drug cartel kidnapped her. She escaped through a window and ran to her grandfather’s house she explained what had happened to her and her grandfather told her to flee the country. The journey was a long one it took her 3,000 miles from what she once knew as home. She found someone who would smuggle her across the border illegally, and she agreed once over the border they were in Texas where they were caught. She was thrown into an asylum and stayed there for a bit fearing being sent back. I believe that she even though smuggled through the borders should get to stay because she had been through so much at only 15 and wanted some sort of shelter she could be safe in.
